Synnect Global Partners LLP is committed to protecting your privacy and safeguarding your personal data. This policy outlines how we collect, process, and protect your information when you visit our website, enquire about our services, or interact with us.

Introduction

Synnect Global Partners LLP (“Synnect”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit www.synnectglobal.com, enquire about our services, apply for a role with us, or otherwise interact with us.

We provide outsourced accounting, tax, and compliance services to accounting firms and businesses in the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, and elsewhere. Because of this, personal information may be processed across borders, including in India, where we are based.

Who is Responsible for Your Information

Synnect Global Partners LLP is a limited liability partnership registered in India, with its principal office at Eldeco Centre, Block A, Shivalik Colony, Malviya Nagar, South Delhi – 110017, Delhi, India.

Our role regarding personal information depends on the context of the processing:

  • Data Controller: Where we decide why and how personal information is processed (for example, information from website visitors, general enquiries, and talent recruitment), we act as a data controller.
  • Data Processor: Where we process clients’ financial, accounting, and personal data on behalf of and strictly under the instructions of our clients (for example, when performing bookkeeping, payroll, or tax compliance work), we act as a data processor. In those cases, our client is the controller, and their own privacy notice governs that data. Our handling is governed by our service agreement and the formal Data Processing Agreement (DPA) in place with that client.

This website privacy policy deals primarily with our role as a data controller.

Information We Collect

We collect personal information through different channels depending on how you interact with us:

Information you give us directly

  • Contact & identity details: Name, business email address, phone number, company name, and job title when you submit an enquiry, request a proposal, or book a discovery meeting.
  • Communications: The content of your messages, enquiries, and correspondence with our team.
  • Recruitment data: Your CV / résumé, employment history, qualifications, and portfolio if you apply for a career opportunity with us.

Information we collect automatically

  • Technical identifiers: IP address, browser type and version, device identifier, time zone, and operating system.
  • Website analytics: Pages visited, time spent, interaction sequences, referring URLs, and telemetry collected through cookies and analytical tools.

Information from third parties

  • Professional networking platforms (such as LinkedIn), business directories, and referral partners where relevant to a potential corporate engagement or candidate placement.

How We Use Your Information

We use personal information for clear business and operational purposes, including to:

  • Respond to your questions, proposals, and consultation bookings.
  • Set up, administer, and deliver outsourced financial and compliance services under our client engagements.
  • Evaluate job applications, manage hiring workflows, and facilitate candidate onboarding.
  • Send essential service updates and, where permitted by law, relevant industry insights and newsletters (which you can opt out of at any time).
  • Operate, maintain, monitor, secure, and improve our website interface and infrastructure.
  • Comply with statutory, regulatory, tax, and professional ethics requirements, and defend or establish legal claims.

Sharing & Disclosure

We never sell, trade, or rent personal information to third parties. We may disclose personal data to the following categories of recipients:

  • Our internal team, partners, and corporate affiliates who require access to deliver our services.
  • Clients, where information specifically relates to outsourced deliverables or personnel placements agreed with them.
  • Vetted third-party service providers (such as cloud hosting, cybersecurity, email delivery, and productivity platforms) bound by strict confidentiality and data protection obligations.
  • Professional legal advisors, auditors, tax authorities, and governmental regulators when required by law or binding regulation.
  • A corporate successor in the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or transfer of our business assets.

International Data Transfers

Because we deliver global outsourced finance services to clients across the UK, US, Canada, Australia, and other jurisdictions, your personal data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including India.

Where personal data subject to UK or EU data protection legislation is transferred to a territory that has not received an adequacy decision, we ensure equivalent protections are maintained using recognised legal safeguards:

  • Approved Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) adopted by the European Commission.
  • The UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or UK Addendum to the EU SCCs.
  • Robust technical measures, including encrypted transmission, role-based access controls, and strict confidentiality protocols.

Data Security

We maintain appropriate technical, physical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal data against accidental loss, unauthorized access, destruction, misuse, or alteration.

These measures include TLS/SSL data transmission encryption, restricted least-privilege system access, multi-factor authentication, regular security audits, and strict confidentiality agreements for all personnel.

While no electronic storage or internet transmission is 100% impenetrable, we continually review and upgrade our security controls to counter emerging threats.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including satisfying legal, accounting, tax, or regulatory compliance mandates.

When personal data is no longer required, it is securely destroyed, permanently erased, or irrevocably anonymised in accordance with our data retention schedule.

Your Data Protection Rights

Depending on your geographic location and the data protection laws applicable to you (such as UK GDPR, EU GDPR, or India DPDP Act), you may hold the following statutory rights:

  • Right of Access: Request confirmation of whether we process your data and obtain a copy.
  • Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate, misleading, or incomplete data.
  • Right to Erasure (“Right to be Forgotten”): Request deletion of your personal data where retention is no longer justified.
  • Right to Restrict or Object: Object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing.
  • Right to Data Portability: Request the transfer of your structured personal data to another service provider.
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: Revoke consent at any time where processing was founded upon your consent.
  • Right to Complain: Lodge a complaint with your competent data protection authority — such as the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) in the UK, your national supervisory authority in the EEA, or the Data Protection Board in India.

To exercise any rights, contact us at contact@syncidglobal.com. Note that when we act as a data processor on behalf of a client firm, requests must be directed to that client (the controller).
